Jamal Rasheed, M.S. Ed
Author
Jamal Rasheed graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1968. In 1972, Jamal graduated from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri with a B.S. in Social Science and a minor in African American History. In 1987, Jamal earned his Masters Degree in Education and Sociology as well as an endorsement in Health and Safety.
In 1976, Jamal became a member of the then World Community of Al-Islam in the West and a dedicated and studious student of Imam W. Deen Mohammed. In 1982, Jamal completed a major milestone for all Muslims by making the Pilgramage to Mecca, known as the Hajj.
Jamal has written and published six books, " The Mentality and Morality of American History," " Kidnapped, Lost and Found" and"Universal Happiness," as well as "It's Mandatory to Identify and Kick Slave Habits," "Positive Solutions to Improve Our Lives," and Broader Perspectives On Effectively Educating All Of Us."
He has presented several workshops including the National Symposium on Race Relations, Equity Education and Civil Rights sponsored by the Brown Foundation, which is known in history for the famous Brown vs. Board of Education in Topeka, Kansas.
Jamal has had several TV and radio interviews, including WLIB, broadcast live from the the world-famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York. For thirteen years, including five years that was Live TV, he has expanded to large audiences by being a producer and host of "The Jamal Rasheed Show."
